We worked on this project from start to finish. This client had specific requests of wanting to have a freestanding bathtub, it is important not shrink the shower and keep the existing layout while updating and brightening the bathroom. We went with the client to test out and find the perfect bathtub for the space. To ensure the shower would be and feel larger we removed the above soffit and dividing walls allowing maximum light coming into the space. (See in before images) We selected materials that added texture, as seen in the ceramic tile that has character and depth with the terrazzo look flooring, while brightening up the space. The black and gold mixed metal accents bring out the black in the terrazzo floor and the luxury that the gold/brass fixtures offer.
